ABOUT ME

Hi! I’m Kathy. Thanks for stopping by.

I am a displaced oil field worker.  Which means during this downturn in the oil field of 2016,  I was laid off.  I have worked in the oil field for over 30 years, and somehow missed out on all the layoffs, but not this time.  Now I am on a new adventure, God willing………. this will be fun times.  I hope this will make you laugh, if not………that is OK.  I have a lot to learn on this adventure, so this is a work in progress with lots of learning to be had by me.  My husband thinks I am crazy and a little delusional, OK maybe a lot of delusional.

Here we are in September 2021!!! WOW that was a fast forward for sure, 5 years!!! Our cattle that we purchased have grown, we lost our Braunvieh Bull along the way, but we had gifted us an amazing heifer, SkeetieBean, who grew up and gave us a Braunvieh/Angus heifer calf. The Braunvieh Bull gave us allot of great calves… had we known what was going to happen, we would have kept more of the calves…. but that is the cattle business!! So we are progress on!!!

Along with our goats we are still on this adventure. My husband also ended up losing his job so our adventure has lots of twist and turns. Stay tune for the ride!!!!!
